There are some that are not that thrilled with the new Facebook Profile Layout where the photos that you are tagged in appear at the top of your Facebook Profile. Rather than sow sour grapes, take advantage of Facebook’s new layout, continue your branding and promote yourself, your business, new service or community.
Take an existing banner if it falls within the Facebook guidelines of 520px width or create a new one. Divide the banner into five segments and add them to your photos album. Now just tag yourself in the photos. You will need to rotate out the old photos. If you have your profile set-up to notify you when you have been tagged in photos, you will be able to quickly go in and edit out the tagged photos to restore your banner.
There are tons of ways you can utilize this feature. Separate business from personal, then do something cool and fun! Check out these Facebook New Profile Layouts on Mashable. It’s just a trend, nothing to get to serious about. Facebook will change the rules anyway – they always do! Here are a few more Facebook New Profile Layout showcased on Mashable.
